How to import and use custom icons in UI5?

Hi,

I have  a set of icons in PNG format. I need to convert them to SVG format and include it as custom icons in UI5.

I have gone through this link:

But, unable to understand it. Can anybody guide me how to go about it?

I have already looked into following examples. Still it did not really help me get the flow and get it working.
