override issues

Hi,

A while ago I overrode the sap.m.ListItemBase renderer because I wanted to show an icon next to the counter. This worked fine until we upgraded to 1.26.8. Now the renderer code looks way different.

Is there anyone who can tell me how I can do the same with the new (1.26.8) sap.m.ListItemBaseRender?

Or even better, is there a good (best practices) way to accomplish the same? So with no overriding...
