JS or XML Views - Which ones are performance efficient?

Hi Experts,

I am trying to develop an application using SAPUI5. The application is also using the plugin HandsOnTable. The application is required to handle huge data i.e., initially thousands of records, but later scaled up to million of records. For development of such an application, which views are advised to be used, JS or XML? Which views can facilitate faster development and efficient performance? Does choice of views affect the performance of an application?

Also since the application is dealing with huge amount, some advice on efficient cache management will be of great help!
