Getting the item template of a m.Table

Hi folks,

I have defined an XML view which contains a table object with the item template defined but without binding definitions ...

I was wondering whether it is possible to get the defined item template of the table object via a method in order to use it then later when I need to bind a model to that tabel - there I need to pass along the item template information ...  I could not find such a method in the api documentation.

Why late binding ?

Well when I define the binding as static in the XML view then it seems that the table component will automatically perform an OData count call without any filtering  while I want to defer that call until the user has chosen the proper required filter criteria  ... as there are no filters the call is taking into account all backend data which can be quite time consuming ...

I know I could use a JS view to 'solve' this issue ...but I do want to use declarative views because of easyness of definition ...

So my idea was to get the defined item template via a method right before creating the binding ...  or is there a way to defer the initial table model count when using declarative ... again I don't seem to find an option that would allow me to ?

Thanks for your ideas,

Steven
