I used the Hybrid Mobile project from Web App wizard in Web IDE trial to convert an existing project to hybrid. And after the conversion, it just shows a blank page.
However, in index.html I noticed the deprecatedattachInitEvent() call. The event never gets fired. I changed the call to the newerattachInit() and my application starts as expected via Web IDE and CompanionApp. When deployed to a device/emulator it still doesn't start (event not fired).
<script type="text/javascript">
sap.hybrid.startApp = function() { sap.ui.getCore().attachInit(function() { sap.ushell.Container.createRenderer().placeAt("content"); });
};</script>
attachInit() is also used in the index.html created by the related Hybrid Mobile Extension Project wizard introduced here. So maybe the Hybrid Mobile project from Web App template is not up-to-date?
But neither of both functions work on an emulator or real device. Is there a workaround?
Regards,
Jan
