Selecting Multiple cells in table

Hi Friends

I am using ODATA to populate a table(sap.ui.table.Table). I want to select single/multiple cell data on this table and perform some operations (like calculating the sum/average..)

I could not find any suitable event/method to achieve this

Can some one suggest, if they have already worked on such a requirement?
