We are facing a serious problem and don't find any solution, all our approaches proved useless so far, so probably some has an idea how to solve this.
We have developed an JavaScript application with SAPUI5:
-> An OData Service retrieves data from the SAP backend.
-> The user changes some data and we transfer the data to the SAP system using OData-Update-Batch-Operation.
-> The data is saved to SAP successfully.
-> But now comes the problem: Refreshing (Odata->Refresh) the data shows the old information.
We have tried to include a lot of different Meta-tags in the HTLM page, we set the update of the OData service to synchronous, we even tried to include non-caching header information from the SAP-implementation of the service (though I am not 100% shure, if we did that right).
The only thing that helped is setting the caching within the browser from AUTOMATIC to first option (I don't know the correct English term, it must be something like "load new content on each connection to the page). But nonetheless, that is not something we can do or assume, as this solution should be rolled out on a larger scale....
Does anyone know of this problem or has any suggestion? This would be much appreciated!
