Hi all,
please have a look into the download section, you'll find the latest SAPUI5 version 1.16.3. As we've planned to provide it just in time for TechEd, please accept some compromises: the package is quite huge, as it contains SAPUI5 and the Fiori specific extensions like "ca-library" or "ushell" in various deployment formats. We'll try to offer several specific packages the next time to avoid this. Also the documentation of these new parts is not yet perfect, but you'll hopefully be able to explore it seeing the samples.
Some news to be mentioned right here
- "Routing support" for optimized navigation supporting forward, backward and deep linking
- "Templating" use HTML templates inside your UI5 app with handlebars as the default templating engine
- "Fragments" are pieces of UI - just like SAPUI5 MVC Views, but without the View Control around the content and without their own Controller
- many new controls and layouts (e.g. grid)
- new Shell-Control
- new CVOM Charts
- Extensibility features
- Mobile Sample Applications
- (ABAP) Web Socket support
So it is best to install the SDK/DemoKit and to have a look
